Rachael Khamala, CNA

Rachael began her career in client care and customer services as a hospitality manager working in the hotel industry in Kenya and Uganda. In her 10 years at the Hilton owned Mt. Kenya Safari Club, Rachael embodied their motto to “create the most hospitable hotel in the world.” Her training in the hospitality industry has been the foundation for her experience even as she moved into health care as a mental health specialist and as an adult family home provider. She approaches each of her clients as unique individuals that require specialized attention to feel their best. She started Astella Caring with the dream to bring the same level of attention to detail and care that she honed as a hospitality professional. Now with more than 10 years in mental health and elder care experience, she is able to marry her two passions and provide a home that centers excellence in care and service.
